PRIVACY POLICY

1. Returns Eligibility:

  • Personalized or custom-made items.

  • Downloadable software or digital content.

3. Refund Process:

• Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment.
• If the original payment method is unavailable, store credit or an alternative method may be offered.

4. Refund Exceptions:

• Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
• Restocking fees may apply to certain items.

5. Exchange Policy:

• Exchanges for the same item may be offered, subject to availability.
• If an exchange is not available, a refund or store credit may be provided.

6. Damaged or Defective Items:

• If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately for assistance.
• We will provide instructions for returning the item and arranging for a replacement or refund.

7. Return Procedure:

• To initiate a return, please bring the item(s) and proof of purchase to our store or follow the instructions provided for online returns.
• For online returns, shipping fees for returning items are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is damaged or defective.

8. Receipt Requirement:

• A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges.
• Returns without a receipt may be subject to store credit at the discretion of management.

9. Final Sale Items:

• Certain items marked as "final sale" are not eligible for return or exchange.

10. Policy Updates:

• This return policy is subject to change without prior notice.
• Any changes to the policy will be reflected on our website and in-store signage.

• GENERAL

Class date(s) and time(s) are provided in the class list and at sign up. Please come prepared and on time to class. If a sewing machine is required for class, bring a machine you are comfortable with using and in good working order. Our teachers may be unable to troubleshoot machines while teaching class. Silence your cell phone during class time and step out of class to take or make calls. You may take breaks from class at any time as needed. Lunch is not provided by the shop, but you may pause for lunch whenever you need. The Cotton Patch staff are not available to assist with troubleshooting machine or project issues in class. Cutting counters in the sales area of the shop are not available for class

• CLASS REGISTRATION

You may register for classes online, in-store or by phone. If payments are taken in-store or by phone a valid phone number and a e-mail are required at time of sign up. Class sign-ups are done in advance only; walk-in sign ups day-of-class are not available. No points are given or redeemable on class fees. Class fees are not eligible for discount. You may pay your class fee using a Gift Card if you wish.

Class fees do not include the cost of supplies. You will receive your supply list at sign up and are responsible for coming to class prepared with the cited supplies. All class participants receive 10% off their supplies for class if purchased at The Cotton Patch. Class supply discount is not combinable with any other sale or offer.

• CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

The Cotton Patch reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes as needed. If a class is cancelled by the store, you will be notified as soon as possible.

You may opt to be refunded in full, transfer cost to another class, or receive store credit. A minimum of three students are required for a class to run unless it is a 1:1 class. If there are not enough students signed up, the class is subject to cancellation.

You may cancel your participation for a full refund one week (seven calendar days) before the class date. Cancellations within one week (seven calendar days) but more than 24 hours will receive in-store credit only. Cancellations within 24 hours, day-of, and no-shows forfeit their class fee - no refund or in-store credit will be given in these circumstances.

                       Media Usage Policy for In-Store Photography and Image Capture

1. Purpose:The purpose of this policy is to outline guidelines and procedures for the usage of media, including photography and images, within our store premises.

2. Scope:This policy applies to all employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors who intend to capture media or use images within our store environment.

3. Definitions:

• Media: Refers to any form of photography, videography, or audio recordings.
• Images: Refers to still pictures or visuals captured through photography or any other media.

4. Policy:

4.1. Permission for Media Capture:

• Individuals or entities seeking to capture media within our store premises must obtain prior permission from the designated store management or authorized personnel.
• Permission must be sought through formal channels, such as submitting a request in writing or obtaining verbal consent from the appropriate store representative.
• By entering the premises customers acknowledge their likeness may be seen/and or used as video, audio or photography if media or content is being made process.

4.2. Purpose of Media Capture:

• Media capture within our store premises is permitted solely for the purpose of promoting our products, services, or brand, and must align with our company values and objectives.
• Any other use of media captured within the store environment must be explicitly approved by the store management or authorized personnel.

4.3. Respect for Privacy:

• Individuals appearing in photographs or captured media must provide their consent before their image is used for any promotional or commercial purposes.
• Store visitors who do not wish to be photographed or captured in media have the right to decline participation and must be respected.

4.4. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

• All media capture activities within the store premises must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to privacy, intellectual property rights, and any other relevant legal considerations.

4.5. Restrictions on Media Capture:

• Media capture that disrupts normal store operations, inconveniences customers or staff, or compromises the safety and security of individuals or assets is strictly prohibited.
• Any use of drones, aerial photography, or similar devices for media capture within the store environment requires explicit authorization from store management and compliance with relevant regulations.

4.6. Discretion and Professionalism:

• Individuals engaged in media capture activities must conduct themselves in a professional manner, respecting the rights, privacy, and dignity of others within the store environment.
• Discretion should be exercised to avoid capturing sensitive or confidential information, including proprietary store layouts, customer data, or trade secrets.

5. Review and Revision:This policy shall be periodically reviewed and updated as necessary to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with evolving business needs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Any proposed revisions to this policy must be approved by senior management before implementation.

6. Communication and Awareness:
